State and national criminal background check
Pre-employment drug screening
Certification:
CPR/First Aid training
Defensive Driving training
CTAA PASS BASIC certification
Wheelchair certification
NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) Training
All necessary software and apps
All equipment and preliminary work-related items, including:
Photo ID badges and company shirt
Bio-Hazard kit
Fire extinguisher

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Proficiency in the English language is necessary.
Prior experience as a Non-Emergency Medical Driver is not required, but a minimum of three years of driving experience is preferred.
Must be at least 22 years of age or older.
Possession of a valid TX driver's license and a clean driving record is mandatory.
Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen is necessary.
No DUIs or DWIs within the last seven (7) years.
Safety and security conscious, with the ability to navigate using GPS and other relevant apps.
Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills are essential.
Must work well with others and have a willingness to assist.
Reliability is a must.
Note: The above qualifications and requirements are essential for the position of Non-Emergency Medical Driver.
Provide safe and secure transportation to all passengers, transporting them to various locations throughout your assigned region
Provide courteous and professional customer service to all passengers
Assist passengers into and out of the vehicle
Communicate effectively with passengers while answering questions about schedules, routes, points of transfer and other inquiries
Exhibit problem-solving ability to de-escalate frustrated and unruly passengers should the need arise
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain a clean vehicle inside and outside at all times, including washing the exterior of the vehicle, cleaning and vacuuming interior and sanitizing per company standards
Follow state and federal regulations regarding non-emergency transportation
Drive assigned routes in adherence with defined schedule
Drive through traffic while obeying all traffic laws
Operate wheelchair lifts/ramps as needed
Follow proper protocol for securement of passengers without exception
Secure all equipment including but not limited to wheelchairs and oxygen tanks appropriately
Report accidents, incidents or other traffic disruptions and follow directions when using an alternate route
Adhere to and execute all company policies and procedures
